In late 1921 PD, she held the rank of Rear Admiral and commanded Battlecruiser Squadron 112, a part of SLN Task Group 3021 under Admiral Josef Byng. At the time of the New Tuscany Incident, after Byng's flagship, the battlecruiser SLNS Jean Bart, was destroyed by the Royal Manticoran Navy on November 17 1921 PD, she became the acting commanding officer of Task Group 3021, as the next officer in command. She was then forced to follow Vice Admiral Gold Peak's instructions to resume orbit and transport her personnel to the surface of the planet New Tuscany. (SI2)
