Laird Milton McKilty is a character who appeared in the Season 9 episode "Phantom Bagpiper". He is a ghost who resides in the ruins of a castle in Scotland who watches over a pair of ponies while trying to scare away those who would dare to take his ponies away, particularly his nefarious neighbor Frugal McDougal. He has a habit of making parts of himself disappear and reappear, sometimes at will and sometimes involuntarily when he's dealing with a problem, and carries with him a bagpipe which he uses to make the ponies go faster.
