The Praetorian Empire goes to war for the protection of Earth. The Promethean Fleets are torn apart, and Earth stands. The Prometheans fall back, but they come back fighting, with the Firstborn by their side. The Praetorian Empire is strong, but not strong enough to hold this for long. It will cost the Firstborn dearly, but as things stand, Earth will fall, followed by Praetoria. The diplomatic Corp of the Praetorian Empire searches desperately for allies, but are unable to. Eventually, Earth is on the brink of collapse, when a vast fleet of Robots pours out of nowhere, sweeping the Promethean and Firstborn from the system. The Mechs have arrived.
