The Chancellor (formerly President) of the COFR is currently Neil, representing the Republic of Holidia. Prior to the New COFR Infrastructure Act, a Chancellor could stay in office for an unlimited amount of times. After the New COFR Infrastructure Act was put to effect on February 1, 2009, each Chancellor may stay office only twice in a row. Elections happen every half a year, and the next elections are scheduled for February 2010.
