The world of Megumareta is one of twelve worlds of the twin star Karral System. It is one of three currently inhabited by life forms. It's history dates back to before the First Age, to the Dawn Era. Megumareta has three continents, but most of it's attention lies with the western continent of Barandos, while there is the eastern continent of Kaz'makahal and the northern ice continent of Sarha. It is currently in the Sixth century of the Ninth Age. Megumareta's history is dominated by demigods known as Dragon Lords. Also, the number of thirteen is seen as a symbol of bad luck (eg. there was orginally thirteen moons orbiting Megumareta, there was orginally thirteen worlds, the thirteenth Dragon Lord was betrayed etc.)
