Steven Zaillian (b. 1953) is one of the writers of Mission: Impossible. Zaillian is an American writer who has also written movies such as Searching for Bobby Fischer, Schindler's List, Clear and Present Danger, Hannibal, Gangs of New York, The Interpreter, All the King's Men, and American Gangster.
