Mortis was a heavyweight robot that competed in the UK series of Robot Wars. Mortis competed in the first four series, and achieved two heat finals, a heat semi final and a rather controversial semi final. Mortis was a very expensive robot, and the game reflected this; Mortis was the most expensive robot in Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction, costing 40,000 credits (two to three times that of other competitor robots). This was Mortis' first appearance in video games, as it also appeared in Robot Wars: Advanced Destruction.
