Enhancing can be done from the game's blacksmiths. To enhance an item a player must use a ruby. They register the item to be enhanced and the gem to apply. A fee is paid and the gem is lost. If the enhancement is successful the item's stats will increase. If the enhancement fails the gem is lost and the item is destroyed.
