It was a branch of the Great Library, but still... the wealth within their vaults was greater than any treasure in any lost kaer in all of Barsaive. I spent hours poring over the tomes there. I did not know that the Satirical History of the Theran Empire as jotted by the pen of Hrogg the Educated Slave had a second volume. Or that there was an alternate ending to the dwarf playwright Melchior's esteemed play "The Harvest." Such volumes and volumes of words, beautiful words! The time did pass by so quickly. I felt that I had scarcely begun to dig into the goldmine when it was already dinnertime.
