Doctor Amarak was a male scientist who was a colleague of Doctor Gaius Baltar at the Colonial Ministry of Defense before the Fall of the Twelve Colonies. Five days after the civilian fleet left the orbit of Ragnar Anchorage, an individual claiming to be Amarak contacted Colonial One, requesting a meeting with President Laura Roslin. He indicated that he had vital information regarding how Cylon forces were able to bypass and shut down Colonial defenses during their assault on the Colonies.
