S3-E3 was a droid with masculine programming belonging to Celestra, an engineer who served the Galactic Republic as part of the Republic Engineering Corps during the Cold War. He was stationed on the planet Ord Mantell during part of the war, where he aided Celestra and the Republic Army against the Mantellian Separatist Movement in the Ord Mantell Civil War.
