Náin was a Dwarf of Durin's Folk. Náin was the grandson of King Dáin I of Durin's Folk, the son of Dáin's youngest son Grór, and the father of Dáin Ironfoot. Náin was slain at the Battle of Azanulbizar. After Náin's death the lines of Grór's two elder brothers failed, and Náin's son Dáin Ironfoot became King.
