The March 2008 General Election took place on 19/03/2008 following the dissolution of parliament at the end of the 2nd Pokemaniac John Government. Voters from across Ostentia took part in the electoral process, voting for both a prime ministerial candidate and a parliamentary candidate. The final results were announced on 21/03/2008. The election saw the Boo Party gain a majority in the House of Commons and Inevitable elected as Prime Minister. This led to the creation of the 3rd Inevitable Government.
