The State of New York is made up of most of the old State of New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania, New York stands stronger today than it had ever done so before. Considered by many as the business and trading capital of the world, New York has the highest population density in what is now called old America. The State Capital of New York City, having been moved from Albany, is the world's wealthiest city, and home to some of the most recognizable structures in America, including the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building and the 1776 meter high One World Trade Center (formerly known as the Freedom Tower), the tallest structure on Earth as of 2008, succeeding Seattle's 2000 ft. high Emerald Spire.
