The Mandalorian Wars ensued after twenty years of relative peace following the Great Sith War. The war was initiated by the ambitious Mandalore the Ultimate, who re-amalgamated the Mandalorian clans under the Neo-Crusader colors. The conflict began in the year 3,941 BrS, when the Mandalorians started conquering planets in the Outer Rim, the first being Dalos IV. Some claim the first clashes between the Mandalorian and Republic fleets taking place as early as 3,930 BrS, but the main part of the combat commenced after the Mandalorians invaded the Galactic Republic itself, circa 3,928 BrS.
