The River of Three Horses was a large fishing stream near the remote valley in the Twilight Mountains known as the Lair. It was named for the scouting party that first discovered it. A tribe of Mountain Goblins that lived north of the Lair used its waters. The river had also been the target of Shadowlands creatures seeking to poison or taint the Lair's inhabitants.
