The Na-melis Order is a group in the Bajoran religion whose members served as the personal assistants of Kai Opaka Sulan. They continued to serve her even when she was lost in the Gamma Quadrant in 2369. In 2370, Vedek Torin of the Na-melis Order came to Deep Space 9 to inform Benjamin Sisko of Opaka's wish for him to find Talis Cedara, a young girl who the former Kai believed was destined to unite the Bajoran people.
