Numinn was a male Zabrak fleet admiral who served in the Republic Navy during the Great Galactic War and the subsequent Cold War with the resurgent Sith Empire. He spearheaded the creation of the Coruscant Aegis squadron, a Republic task force composed of scattered individuals striking at Imperial targets across the galaxy. The smuggler Voidhound impersonated the admiral after a terminal malfunction at the Coruscant Spaceport. During the Battle of Ilum, Numinn was part the emergency war council convened to take action against Darth Malgus and his New Empire. Numinn believed that Malgus would focus only on his former Imperial comrades, only for General Elin Garza to remind him of the Sith's crimes during the Sacking of Coruscant.
