WICO publishes a wildlife at risk list detailing at-risk, vulnerable and endangered wildlife. At-risk flora and fauna risk a potential reduction in healthy specimens or population numbers, vulnerable species are at significantly-reduced numbers and endangered species risk extinction if no significant measures are taken. In 2015, a fourth category, unrecoverable, was added for species considered extinct, or extinct in the wild with no chance of successful reintroduction into the wild.
