Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 is a 2008 family film about the life and return of the musical group Alvin and the Chipmunks (and in the animated series of the same name). It was directed by Tim Hill and produced by Bagdasarian Productions, New Regency Productions, and 20th Century Fox. It is set to release summer of 2008 but no exact date has been named.
