Diving horse was a water attraction in 19th century Earth. A horse accompanied by a rider would dive from a considerable height into a pool of water. The back page of the Friday August 11th, 1893, issue of the San Francisco Register contained a classified ad requesting a young girl for diving horses at a state fair.
