Chōjirō Tadaoki Sasakibe (雀部 長次郎 忠息, Sasakibe Chōjirō Tadaoki, "Lit"; Sparrow Subordinate, Next Leader, Breath of Loyalty) is the current lieutenant of the 1st Division underneath Captain-Commander, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto. He has retained this post for possibly his entire career, which has apparently traveled back since the foundations of the Gotei 13, and has never left the position even once.
