I'm in the same boat (pun intended). When your captain has been absent for a week, you can click to send them fishing. Afterwards, you'll be eligible to go on slacker-captain trips (if you're higher than your Captain, as is my case), or regular trips. Rinse and repeat week after week. or u can just remove them from ur captain and just get pts each daY insted of going fishing with them
