Group Captain Saiful Azam (born 1941) is a retired air force officer who served as a fighter pilot with the Pakistan Air Force in the years before 1971. In 1971 during the Bangladesh Liberation war he was imprisoned by Pakistan authority, after the independence of Bangladesh he returned to his homeland and joined Bangladesh Air Force.
