Quentin Quale was a local physicist in Central City and old friend of Martin Stein. However when Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein as Firestorm went to try and ask for his help in trying to help them separate from The Firestorm Matrix. But tragically the two lost control of their powers as Firestorm and ended up killing him by mistake.
