Generation Force is the first of the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL Booster Packs. It has an OCG release date of April 16, 2011 and a TCG release date of August 16, 2011. It contains a balanced amount of OCG original and series original cards, including the new "Wind-Up" and "Crashbug" archetypes, as well as a number of Xyz Monsters and support for older archetypes. The TCG version introduces new text patterns and includes previously OCG only cards, including some "HERO" monsters.
