Paul Buchheit is a programmer, and a long time Google employee, being the 23rd person to be employed by Google. His most successful work includes creating Gmail, and continuing to lead it's development. He was also the creator of the earliest prototype of AdSense, which he created as part of his work on Gmail. He was the first to suggest one of Google's mottos, "Don't be evil", in a meeting in 2000.
