This Action Research Team (ART) became a collaborative student-run organization working to identify current international conflicts, specifically in developing countries (for example: the Darfur Genocide, Child Slaves in India, the War in Congo, etc.). We will provide a strategy to creatively address these concerns by means of ultimately creating an annual fundraiser called the International Music Festival. The project is designed to address the University community and the Santa Cruz community by means of inviting an international music artist from the region in which our focus of the conflict originates; tabling agencies; and speakers who have developed specialized contributions to the knowledge of an international issue.
