Algol Prime was a planet in or near Federation space in the late 23rd century. In the late 2260s, it was the site of a diplomatic conference between the Gottar Hegemony and the Omjaut Republic moderated by Ambassador Gett'Ipher. (TOS short story: "Make-Believe") It is possible that this planet is in the same star system, or is the same planet as Algol II.
