Deriving it's name from the phrase "Hvaer-itha", which in the ancient tongue of the Dragon means "several hills", Harata is a region in the Kanefthali Mountains that consists of gently rolling hills, small ponds, meadows and wooded areas. It is mostly populated by Dzur and Lyorn nobles, and some few Tiassa (and their Teckla serfs, of course). Harata contains the duchy of Blackbirdriver, home of Sennya, the Dzur Heir during the Interregnum, and her daughter Ibronka. Known for its production of wool, sheep are rasied by the numerous Teckla farmers of the region.
