Hailing from the dark, frigid north, the Waterwing is a sturdy and flightless species of avian. They form large nesting colonies along the tundra's icy beaches where they fish, congregate and perform ornate rituals together. Despite appearances as a simple creature, Waterwings are one of Valenth's native species of elemental. They are not only intelligent, but capable of powerful water-based magics. To befriend one is said to bring great luck to one's household and family.
