The Nova was a Swedish pop duo who represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1973 in Luxembourg with the song You're Summer which finished in fifth place. In order to compete in the Contest, they were forced to change their name from the original Malta, since that name coincided with the name of one of the competing countries.
