CC-2029, nicknamed Dax, was a clone trooper in the 52nd Star Corps during the Clone Wars under Commander Typhuss. Dax fought in many battles with his CO CC-2009, such as the Battle of Geonosis, the First Battle of Kamino, the Battle of Christophsis, the Battle of Teth, Sky Battle of Quell and the Battle of Maridun and the First Battle of Felucia.
