Rupert Sinclair Hill was born 15th June, 1978 in Solihull. He appeared in a number of roles in television soaps such as EastEnders and Brookside before playing the part of Cameron Davenport in the Channel 5 serial Family Affairs from 2002 to 2004. This brought him to the wider attention of casting directors and he landed the role of Jamie Baldwin in Coronation Street, first appearing on 19th July 2004 and finally departing on 29th February 2008.
