The Usually Nots is a shoegaze trio from Adoha, Clymene. The band was formed in 2009 and discovered by Warped Records in 2012. They released their first album in 2013. The Usually Nots borders noise pop and noise rock, and plays an abrasive, metal-influenced style of shoegaze characterized by short songs and heavy feedback. The band gives chaotic concerts and incorporates lots of effect pedals during gigs and recording. The Usually Nots released the single "Red Sea" in 2012, which featured Beautiful Burnout member Gill Kristus.
