The Argelendre Airport, situated on the Argelendre Hill between Gardoste and Bronpargo, is the primary airport on Virva Peninsula and in the province of Virva. Originally built in the 1930's, the airport got its third runway in 1960 and the hill ran out of space and extra capacity. The peninsula was so densely populated that there was no possibilities to raise the capacity for air traffic. Argelendre remains the only airport of the region, with high prices and insufficient capacity.
