The bouda, sometimes referred to as gnolls or werehyenas, were a race of shapeshifters who lived in Tronin Desert in Libaterra in the Third Age. Their origin was uncertain, and even the bouda themselves knew not if they were originally hyenas who took a more humanoid shape or humans who embraced a more beastly nature. They came across adventurers during the events of the Rose of the Desert, but their fate after that remains unknown although it's assumed they're no longer around.
