The Battle of Ruusan was a major engagement between the New Republic and it's allies and the Yuuzhan Vong that lasted from 27 to 28 ABY. The engagement was known as a major turning point in the Mid Rim campaign and had a significant impact on the conflict overall. More than four million troops were fielded on the ground, and more than seven hundred warships fought in orbit. Ruusan was a planet located in the Mid Rim of the galaxy, and was famous for the Ruusan Reformations, which occurred during the times of the Galactic Republic.
