The Burner deflector shield was a type of deflector shield system produced by Cygnus Spaceworks during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. The Burner shield was an average shield except for its engine power converter, which allowed the pilot to transfer a portion of the starship's shielding power to the engine reserves.
