The PRP maintains a one-state party government, and has the largest army in the South East Asia region. The current president is Corazon Aquino, late widow of assassinated martyr Benigno Aquino. The PRP maintains bilateral relations with The USSR, China and most communist countries around the globe, with a special relationship between the Philippine and Yugoslav governments. Since the Cold War, the Philippine economy has one of the highest economic growth in the region, surpassing its western neighbor Vietnam. Its policies were mostly mixed of Titoism, Maoism, and Stalinism.
