This item cannot be deposited into the bank. It is possible for minelayers to drop anywhere from 1 to 5 mines. When deployed a message appears saying "The mine will last for a minute and you can only place 2 per minute." Deployed mines can be recalled to be put back into your inventory if they have not detonated. Sacred mines will only damage surrounding NPCs, but those deployed by minelayers will damage players. After the Battle of Lumbridge ended, players attempting to destroy them would instead drop them without deploying, which was previously impossible.
