The Bijani National Council formation of 1949 refers to the process by which the members of the National Council, the upper chamber of the bicameral National Assembly of Bijan, were selected. Unlike its counterpart, the Chamber of Deputies, which is directly elected, the National Council's membership is chosen through a variety of methods.
