The first Surprise Saturday was in the Webkinz eStore on August 2, 2008. Some items go on sale like Webkinz Charms that only have codes, and a number of 2-4 items are added each Saturday. Somehow only one item that was new to the eStore stayed, and the other was removed from the list. Currently, there are only two items that are from Surprise Saturday, currently in the eStore. Items come and go each Saturday. Starting in later 2008, Surprise Sunday started so items and charms come each weekend.
