Emer is a character in the Book of Mormon's Book of Ether. Emer was a righteous ruler of the Jaredites. Emer's rule began after a lengthy period of internal strife. His reign was peaceful and prosperous as he reigned in righteousness. Years prior to his death, he conferred his kingdom upon his son Coriantum.
