That night, while Gutsucker was asleep, he was unaware of Wordsmith sneaking in to save Shion until the warrior loudly believed the poet to be another dinosaur. Gutsucker quickly woke up and chased Wordsmith away, backing the useless author into a corner. Despite laughing at him, Gutsucker was taken by surprise by Wordsmith's bravery, but soon had his target on the floor, ready to impale him with his spear. However, the dinosaur was knocked out with the end of Wordsmith's spear.
