Guy troopers were a secret creation by the Napoinreaions to be used as weapons and servants, but the troopers began regenerating themselves and eventually overthrew their Napoinreaion masters. The group was then officially identified as their own species by the New Republic after they formed a government and trying to take over various Republic planets, including Coruscant, and eventually defeated the Republic entirely by the year 2567 CE in the 26th century.
