Bogu the Fat was a merchant of the Second City rival of Kurujo the Old and Koru the Rich. Owner of the opium den known as the Princess' Dream, Bogu was an extremely wealthy and amoral merchant. The obese merchant moved on a palanquin, and generally remained in his large house. Through blackmail or ongoing dealings he had protection from a few members of the Ivory Court.
