Ilkain was a Near-Human former Jedi Master who was a friend of the Old Republic's Jedi Order. During the Clone Wars, he served as a general for the Republic before disappearing in the Unknown Regions and was not seen again until after the fall of the Galactic Empire, when he served as an ally to the New Republic and as a master of the Alkanna order. During the Yuuzhan Vong war, Ilkain was one of but many beings thrust into the conflict, where he gave his all to defend his fledgling order from the invaders.
