Towan was a member of The Young. He encountered Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn when they came to the headquarters of The Young. When he made a derogatory joke about Melida and Wehutti, Nield choked him for it, but not fatally. He was sent to sleep in Drain Two for three days for his punishment.
