The River Calormen was a river that marked the southern border of the Great Desert and the northern border of Calormen. It passed around the island on which Tashbaan was located. It was broad and deep, and the only passable fords were far to the west of the nation. The river ultimately dispersed out into the Bight of Calormen of the Great Eastern Ocean.
